Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Check in and enjoy your free time to explore the city at your leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel to begin a full-day city tour of Hanoi. Highlights include: + Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, located on the tranquil West Lake. + Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex – including the Mausoleum and the stilt house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. + Vietnam Museum of Ethnology – the largest museum in Hanoi, showcasing the cultures of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. + Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s First University – established in 1070, this historic site was the location of the country’s first national exams. + Hoa Lo Prison – built by the French in 1896, this former prison housed political prisoners and later, American POWs who nicknamed it the “Hanoi Hilton.” Return to the hotel.
- Overnight in Hanoi
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay (approx. 3-hour drive). Upon arrival, board the cruise to begin your journey through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore some of the bay’s 2,000 limestone islands and islets. Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) – the most famous and spectacular cave in Halong Bay, discovered by the French in 1901. Cruise past iconic formations such as Fighting Cock Islet, Stone Dog Islet, and Incense Burner Islet. Enjoy meals and activities on board.

Continue your cruise, passing through floating fishing villages where you can observe the daily life of the locals living on the bay. Around 11:00 AM, return to Tuan Chau Pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in the Old Quarter around 4:30 PM.
